Print the Physician Information Sheet and bring it with you to your next doctor appointment.
Your doctor will give you instructions on where to go to get your blood drawn for the Avise personalized medicine services. In some cases, your blood will be collected at your doctor’s office; in other cases, you will need to visit a lab to have your blood sample drawn. To ensure quality, your sample will be sent to our certified lab in San Diego, CA. for processing. This diagram illustrates the process for having an our services performed. You cannot request a test directly but must work with your doctor to have the test performed. Your blood sample will normally be processed within two business days, with results dispatched back to your doctor as soon as possible. Your doctor will receive and interpret your results. Questions about your individual results should be directed to your doctor.
