Laboratory blood testing services such as Avise are reimbursed by most insurance plans. Exagen Diagnostics will bill the insurance company on behalf of your patients as long as complete insurance information is provided on the test requisition form.

When your patient elects for us to bill third-party private insurance, a special communication will be sent to the patient outlining the billing process. Exagen Diagnostics also offers a patient assistance program for those who can demonstrate financial hardship. In the event that the insurance provider does not fully cover the service, Exagen Diagnostics will assist the patient with the appeal process, if desired, and/or arrange for direct payment from the patient.
